Delete Your Marilo Account
This page explains how to delete your Marilo account and associated personal data.

Delete Your Account in the App
The fastest way is to delete your account yourself, directly in Marilo. No request or waiting is involved.
- Open Marilo and go to your Profile tab.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Confirm that you want to continue.
- Enter your password to verify that you are the account owner.
Your account and its data are removed as part of this process.
If You Cannot Sign In
If you have lost access to your account, forgotten your password, or already removed the app, you can request deletion by email instead.
- Send an email from the address associated with your Marilo account to mehmetkayaaslan@outlook.com.
- Use the subject line:
Marilo Account Deletion Request - Include the username and email address associated with your Marilo account.
- We may request limited additional information to verify that you are the account owner before completing the deletion.
Data Scheduled for Deletion
We take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize account-related data under our control, which may include:
- the Marilo authentication account;
- profile information, such as username, email address, biography, and profile image;
- device notification tokens linked to the account;
- group membership records;
- live-location records associated with the user;
- stored location-history records associated with the user;
- friendship and friend-request records associated with the account; and
- other account-linked application data where deletion is technically and legally available.
Data That May Be Retained or Anonymized
Certain information may be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backup recovery, or protection of other users.
Content created in shared spaces, such as group messages, targets, or action pings, may be deleted, anonymized, or retained in a limited form where necessary to preserve the integrity of shared group activity or comply with legal obligations.
Before You Delete
Deletion is permanent. You will lose access to your groups, messages, saved settings, profile content, and other account-related features, and this cannot be undone.
Cancel any active subscription first. A Marilo Pro subscription is billed by Google Play, not by the app. Deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions before deleting your account, or billing may continue.
If you only want to stop location sharing, you do not need to delete your account. You can revoke location permission in your device settings, leave the relevant group map session, or turn off optional location history.
